THE CYCLE OF LIFE
Have you ever thought about the cycle of life?
How humans are created, born, grow, and transition?
How sometimes we end how we started?
How sometimes we start how we end?
The cycle of life is real. We all grow through it.
I often think about how a baby is born. How a man plants a seed in a female, it attaches to an egg and creation is made. And itβs made in the act of UNION. How precious is that? Thatβs how you got here.
When weβre born, we usually create UNION as well. As people gather for delivery to meet the beautiful sensation of a newborn. And itβs interesting how we, as babies, enter the world crying. How we take our first breath and cry. And if we donβt cry, we get a little spank to do so lol. How usually we automatically catch a breath and have this beautiful sense of innocence. We barely know anything. We then grow through different stages. We learn to walk, eat, talk, pee and poop in a toilet, etc. And if life blesses us with time, we get to grow up into teenagers, then adults, and then elders.
You may be thinking why is she mentioning this? I bring this up because I want to bring awareness to the BEAUTY in the process of the cycle of life, that we often overlook in our day-to-day cycles. Many people donβt like to talk about death, but it is a given truth in this life. Itβs just all how you perceive it. I like to refer to death as transition. Earth is a sphere which is circular shaped, and life is one big circle as well.
βMANY PEOPLE DONβT LIKE TO TALK ABOUT DEATH, BUT IT IS A GIVEN TRUTH IN THIS LIFE. ITβS JUST ALL HOW YOU PERCEIVE IT.β
This hits home for me as my Abuela (grandmother) is in her transition. Sheβs been bedridden for almost three years. As my family and I accepted this process in her cycle of life, I sat back and observed. I watched as she lost her motor skills, watched as her memories deteriorated, watched as her speech phaded, watched as she played with dolls, watched as the nurses bathed her, watched as my mom changed her diapers, watched as I spoon fed her. I couldnβt help but notice one thing. How my abuelita who used to change my diapers, spoon feed me, bathe me, play with dolls with me was now getting the same care.
It was one of the most difficult things to witness. It was so hard to accept. After initial resentment and later an understanding of this process, I can now see through a new lens. In all this, one thing remand the same. I still got her forehead kisses. I still received her love. Although this transition has been three years in the making and her time is nearly approaching, I still feel her love, and I know she feels ours.
I strongly believe⦠LOVE is the one thing that travels through different lifetimes.
The most beautiful part of this whole process was I observed how ALL my family came together in this process to be by her. In her last days we have all been right by her side in⦠UNION. How full circle is that? And as she takes her last breath in peace, we may be the ones crying, but we will find peace in knowing she completed her life cycle in the most loving way possible.
The cycle of life is so beautiful. Through the pain, through the tears, through the frustration, BEAUTY still shines!
I share this with you in hopes for you to ENJOY wherever you are in your life cycle. To remember the simple beauties in life. To encourage you to spend time with your family, your loved ones⦠in UNION.

We are in this lifetime to experience LOVE and UNION. Live in that, embrace that, and consciously create in this life cycle. Please find a moment soon to spend time in UNION and tell someone I LOVE YOU.
From human to human, from soul to soul. I LOVE YOU. I send you much love, warmth, and high vibrational energy.
To abuela, TE AMO! Gracias por tu amor, tu alma, y tus besos.
Con mucho amor,
